Sadly, due to a shortage of locations and a need to focus on the editing stages of the footage we already have, as well as the remainder of the project, we have decided to can the narrative section.
The Klinger building we were planning on using for the pivotal finale sequence was out of action, and impossible to access for us, so we decided to discuss the idea of canning it. Initially it seemed crazy, as it would make up 50% of the video cut, perhaps more, but after watching back early cuts of the performance footage assembled as a complete video, we realised that we had more than enough performance footage to compile a full video, and it would be no weaker for it. We and several other people outside the group who happened to see the video agreed, and even viewed a narrative section as unnessecery, so with time pressing on, we decided to cut out the narrative section and press on with the footage we already have, which is looking very strong on screen. Some screenshots from the performance footage will be surfacing in a future post.
